Design a modern gelato facility

Baboo asked us to design a gelato facility suitable for high-care food production. The facility was to be located in a historic BBC World Service building and equipped with modern machinery. The project presented complex challenges and opportunities, which we assessed before creating a design. Early development is the most critical stage of any project, so we presented the client with multiple options at the beginning.

Outcome

Using the specifications we provided, the client engaged design and build (D&B) companies to fit out the new facility. The contractors completed the build according to our design, resulting in a successful outcome for this local producer.
