Geoff Willett

Founder

Geoff founded Willett Food Projects Ltd in 2002, following an extensive career in the food manufacturing industry. With over 40 years’ experience designing, supervising and commissioning complex projects, he deeply understands the sector and its challenges.

In his previous role as Director of Technology for Oscar Mayer Ready Meals, he was responsible for all main projects, engineering and food technology–overseeing an average of100 staff, an annual overhead budget of £3.5 million and projects totalling £14 million. 

Geoff established Willett to bring a practical and cost-efficient strategy to the food manufacturing industry. Today, he oversees the financial side of the business and carries out occasional site visits, but has stepped away from the day-to-day management. 

He’s a chartered engineer, a Fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), a contributing author of ‘Guidelines for the hygienic design, construction and layout of food processing factories 2003’ (CCFRA) and an IMechE Food Engineering Committee member.
