Nick Willet
Operations Director
15 years after his father, Geoff, established Willett Food Projects, Nick took over the operational reins. The company has continued to thrive–expanding its core team and network of trusted contractors while taking on larger and more complex projects.
Nick got his first taste of mechanical engineering aged 16 when he joined Westland Helicopters as an apprentice. He worked in aerospace design for seven years, before joining the family business. Today, he oversees all projects and the company's business development.
Although growing steadily, Willett is a family-run operation at its core–something Nick is extremely proud of. After Geoff designed a factory for Linda McCartney sausages in 1997, it was Nick who returned 25 years later to increase its capacity for a new frying line. A full-circle moment for the business.
"At Willett, we're passionate about food factory design. I'm proud of our enthusiastic, creative team of specialists, the strong client relationships we've built and the innovation we continue to deliver."
